Poland Student Visa

VISIT or WORK in POLAND

Poland is a part of the Schengen Area, so student can apply for a Polish visa and travel all around Europe (excluding the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and states outside of the EU).
There are several types of visas to choose from:
“A” type – an airport transit Schengen visa, so it cannot be used by a student coming to Poland
“C” type – a short-term Schengen visa allowing the holder to stay in the Schengen territory for up to 90 days in 180 days period
“D” type – a long-term national visa issued for up to one year allowing travel around the Schengen area for up to 90 days in a 180 days period

Requirnments for Polish student visa

• A university acceptance letter. The letter has to be official and signed by the Polish university candidate has applied for, and it should state their name, type of study, and the length of studies.
• An invitation letter. If a candidate can not reach a dormitory contract or rental agreement for their accommodation during your stay in Poland, a guarantor can apply for their visa with an invitation letter. The invitation letter needs to be written by a guarantor, and it should state that they will be able to provide for candidates stay during your studies in Poland.
• Document proving candidates English or Polish language proficiency level*. To start their studies in a Poland university, candidate must prove their English or Polish language proficiency level. Candidate can submit this proof in the form of a diploma or academic certificate. Candidates certificates can not be older than three years.

• Paid visa fee receipt. The receipt is given to candidate after paying the long-stay visa fee.
• Proof of candidates flight date and time. Candidate can submit the flight ticket as proof.
• Health insurance. Prior health insurance is important to cover candidate for at least the initial part of their trip until they set up long-term student health insurance in Poland.
