Malaysia's immigration department issues the student pass (Student visa) on a yearly basis as a multiple entry visa (MEV). For being Eligible to apply for a Student Pass, candidate must apply for an e-VAL through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) and pay the processing fee to EMGS.

The average processing duration for a student visa for Malaysia is around 5-6 days. This student visa application processing time may vary slightly for different situations and application center locations.

Who is eligible for Malaysian student visa

•A copy of your offer letter is required in order to apply for a student visa in Malaysia.

• Candidates academic certificates and transcripts

• The Immigration Department requires all education institutions in Malaysia to sign a personal bond on behalf of the candidate, binding the University for a specified sum. To comply with this requirement, the institution will require candidate to lodge the specified amount for this purpose.

• When candidate applies for a Visa Approval Letter (VAL) they must demonstrate that they have an acceptable level of English language proficiency, and upload the certificate as part of your application.

• Candidates must prove that they have enough money to support yourself throughout your stay via bank statement or supply proof of your parent's or partner’s annual income

• Candidates needs to produce a medical certificate that certifies that they are in good health.
