What is Canada Provincial Nomination Program(PNP)

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) are developed by Canadian provinces and territories, with the goal of supporting the regional labour market challenges. There are two types of PNPs:-
• “Enhanced Programs" which are aligned with Express Entry
• “Base Programs" which operate independently.

PNP's for Various Provinces and Territories are as follows:-

Alberta immigration nomination program​ now known as Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), is an economic immigration program that nominates people for permanent residence in Alberta.

A successful PNP candidate can apply for Canadian Permanent Residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada through IRCC’s Permanent Residence Program. Candidates who have strong language skills, higher education and skilled work experience have more chance of obtaining Permanent Residence with this economic immigration program.
Applicants with an active profile in Express Entry Pool have a better chance in some provinces and some don't have such preferences. Each provinces have there own set of rules and regulations for PNP's, so it is advised to consult an expert before applying.
