Sub class 189
Subclass 189 or Skilled Independent Visa is a point-based visa designed to select a certain set of overseas skilled people required in different states of Australia. It allows skilled workers to move and live in Australia without the need of having a sponsorship of a family member or nomination by the state or territory government.
Sub class 190
Subclass 190 or Skilled Nominated Visa is a permanent resident visa that allows overseas skilled workers, to live and work in Australia who are nominated by the state or government agency and meet the migration point test. You are required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through Skill Select and be invited to lodge an application for the visa.
Sub class 491
Subclass 491 or Skilled Work Regional is a point tested visa which is especially for those skilled workers who wish to live and work in a regional area of Australia.
